Dr. Maria Fonseca

Dr. Maria Fonseca graduated from the University of Cartagena in Colombia with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2006. Driven by a passion for expanding her expertise, she earned a second DDS from the University of California, Los Angeles
(UCLA) in 2016. Furthering her training, Dr. Fonseca completed a residency in Prosthodontics at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2019, where she excelled as Chief Resident. With a deep commitment to her field and the community, she has been proudly serving patients in the Bay Area since 2020. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Fonseca holds a part-time faculty position at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni, school of Dentistry where she shares her
knowledge and passion for prosthodontics with future generations of dental professionals.

Dr. Fonseca specializes in a range of advanced procedures, including full mouth reconstruction, All-on-X implant solutions, veneers, and dentures. Her expertise and attention to detail allow her to deliver personalized, high-quality care that helps restore both function and aesthetics to her patients’ smiles. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Fonseca is a devoted mother to three children and enjoys traveling with her family to explore new cultures. Her love for exploration and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds enhances her ability to build strong, meaningful
relationships with her patients.
