Missing teeth can impact your confidence, bite, and overall oral health. At Central Dental Group, we offer personalized dental implant solutions to restore your smile—comfortably, effectively, and for the long term. Here's a look at the different types of implants and what to expect from each treatment.

Single Tooth Implant – Step-by-Step

If you're missing just one tooth, a single dental implant is often the best solution.

What to expect:

  • It all starts with a consultation, dental exam, and 3D imaging (including a cone beam CT scan) to determine if you're a good candidate.

  • Once your custom treatment plan is ready, we'll place the implant using computer-guided technology to ensure precise, painless placement. The procedure typically takes 30–60 minutes.

  • After healing (usually 3–6 months), we attach a custom-made crown that looks, feels, and functions like a natural tooth.

  • You’ll care for it just like a real tooth—brushing, flossing, and regular check-ups.

Implant Bridge – Ideal for Multiple Missing Teeth

If you're missing several teeth in a row, an implant-supported bridge may be a more cost-effective option than individual implants.

How it works:

  • Two implants are placed at either end of the gap.

  • A custom bridge is secured on top, replacing 3 or more missing teeth in a row.

  • Fewer implants are needed, making this an efficient and strong solution—even for a full arch in some cases.

Implant-Retained Dentures – Secure, Affordable, Removable
*Explore the difference between All-on-4 vs. All-on-6 dental implants

For patients missing all teeth in an upper or lower arch, implant-retained dentures offer stability without the need for a full set of implants.

Treatment steps:

  • 4 (or more) implants are strategically placed in the jaw.

  • After healing, we design a custom removable denture that securely "snaps" into place on the implants.

  • You’ll enjoy better comfort and biting strength than with traditional dentures, with the added benefit of easy removal for cleaning.

Which Option Is Right for You?
  • One missing tooth? Go with a single implant.

  • Several missing in one area? An implant bridge is often ideal.

  • Missing all teeth? An implant-retained denture is effective and budget-friendly.

At Central Dental Group, we’ll walk you through every step, explain your options clearly, and help you choose the treatment that fits your needs and goals. We also show you real examples so you can feel confident about your choice.
