Routine Cleaning and Preventative Check Up

Regular, professional teeth cleaning is essential. We recommend having your teeth professionally cleaned every six months. More frequent cleaning may sometimes be necessary depending on lifestyle and genetics.

Composite Fillings

Cavities and minorly chipped teeth can be fixed with fillings. If there are multiple fillings, we may need additional appointments in order to provide the best care for each one.​

Tooth Extractions

Sometimes if a cavity is too big or there are infection around the teeth, extractions will be necessary in order to maintain your oral health.​

​

For wisdom teeth extractions, we will need a panoramic in order to see how your teeth is growing in. If you have taken one recently, you can bring that in for us to see or we can take a new one during your visit. Depending on the teeth location, we may need to refer you to an oral surgeon.

Crowns

Crowns (or caps) protect and strengthen decayed or damaged teeth that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. 

A full crown restoration typically takes 2 appointments to ensure a proper fit. During the first appointment, the dentist will remove all of the decay within the problem tooth. Once the decay is removed, an impression of the tooth is made. That impression is sent to our lab where the crown will be created. A temporary crown will be placed on your tooth while the new crown is being made.

At the second appointment, the dentist will place the new crown and fit it comfortably into your mouth. Sometimes a third visit is needed to ensure a proper fit.
